Seeing "The Last Supper"
If you want to see Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece "The
Last Supper" in Milan you need to book well in advance.
You will find the number (the only one) is normally busy and it
can take a long time to get through (I have heard of some people
trying for days). We can book it for you for a fee of €5
per person, paid in advance. You will pay for your ticket/tour
at the booking office over here shortly before the time of your
visit.

Booking Museums and Galleries
You will find details about museums and galleries throughout Italy
on our Favourites
Page. We have highlighted those that need to be booked in advance
(booking is obligatory for some). If you don't, you will spend many
hours of your precious holiday time standing in long queues, waiting
to get in. Those who have bookings bypass the queue and go straight
to a dedicated window, where you pay your entrance fee and pick
up your timed entrance tickets. Bookings must be made at least 24
hrs in advance. Sometimes your hotel can make these for you, but
to avoid taking a chance, why not let us make your bookings?
Just send an email giving museums, dates and times you want to
make reservations (date should be in the form May 27, 2003). We
will reply confirming your booking. Once we receive notification
that you have then paid our fee (see online payment below) you will
be sent your reservation number. You need this number when you go
to collect your tickets. We do not ask for payment for the tickets
because this is not re-fundable. If something happens and you have
to cancel you will only lose our fee not the price of the ticket
and fees. Groups of 10 or more should contact us for directly for
information. English-speaking guides are also available on request.

services will not be refundable in the event of subsequent cancellation
by you. We will have already carried out the booking and incurred
expense in doing so. We hope you understand.

Postal Despatch Service
If you would like something sent over from Italy just ask
us - if we can do it we will be happy to, there will be a small
fee which will depend on the request. A variation of this service
is if you would like to send flowers, a food parcel etc. to someone
living in Italy. It would save you a lot of money for us to organise
this here in Italy instead of mailing from the US.

|
Checking Accommodation
If you would like us to check out accommodation for you we
will happy to if it is feasible for us, we may also be able to send
you detailed directions of how to get there. A small fee will be
charged and this will depend on your requirements.

A great day out with Charlie
and Theresa Young from San Antonio, Texas. Here we are at
the church of San Damiano.

Individual and Small Group Tours of Assisi
If you would like to see Assisi through my eyes please contact
me at least 2 weeks in advance of your visit.
I can pick you up at the train station or your hotel and we will
spend a full day (7 hours) or half a day (4 hours) together learning
about St Francis and his birthplace.
I will also drive you to see the places of interest outside the
centre of the town.
It is very true that Assisi is more than one basilica.

Train Tickets.
Italian railways are in general a good way to travel around. Booking
tickets can be a trial however, with long queues and quite a complex
system of surcharges etc. If you wish, we can help by taking care
of booking your train tickets for you, sending them to you in advance
so you have no worries. You can also have the tickets sent to your
first destination in Italy if you don’t have time to wait for the
post. There is also an option of picking up tickets at any main
railway station.
You pay the actual price of the ticket and a fee of €25 per
booking. All you need to do is email
me with details of your itinerary and of the people travelling.
I will get back to you with all the prices and times.
Note:
Due to pressure of work train information can only be looked up
for Italy With Us club
members or those who pay a deposit of €5 which will
be refunded from the final order for ticket purchase.
